  • Mafia II pcgame free download

Mafia II is the gritty mob sequel to 2002 original, allowing games to enter the violent wold of the American mob in the 1950s.

Eight years is a long time, and Grand Theft Auto IV has taken the crown as the best serious sandbox adventure in town. Starting Mafia II, it's difficult not to compare the game's Empire Bay with Liberty City, but thankfully the 1950s buzz of this game makes it feel totally different.

Attention to detail is impressive, and the look and sounds of the city really evoke the 50s. The graphics in Mafia II are good, although the face modeling isn't the best we've seen. The story is violent, and the dialog is full of adult language. That's not a problem, but it sometimes feels too much.

The basic driving around and doing missions isn't anything new, but Mafia II is a little different to the competition. The police can be bribed, and if you start a fight you go into a kind of fight mode which works quite well.

While the city in Mafia II is quite bustling, the pedestrians aren't as realistic as in GTA IV. They don't seem to react to their surroundings much, and there is too much repetition in the models.

The Mafia II shows part of an impressive sandbox game, but it doesn't live up to the standards set by Rockstar Games

Kings Quest 3 : To Heir is Human pcgame free download

It’s been twenty years since the evil wizard Manannan first appeared on our computer screens, but now, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team at Infamous Adventures, he’s back!

Kings Quest 3 : To Heir is Human was first released by Sierra On-Line back in 1986. As the second sequel to the hugely popular and successful Kings Quest series, it fast became a fan favourite. Roberta Williams, author of the Kings Quest series, broke new ground in computer games, introducing players to the magic map concept (making travel quicker between screens), timed puzzles and an in-depth spell casting system. All these things are standard fare in today’s games, but were original concepts in 1986.

Unfortunately, due to the advances made in computer technology over the last twenty years, such classic games no longer run on the modern computer. It was with this in mind that Infamous Adventures decided to remake this game, bringing it up to the quality of Kings Quest 5 & 6. Klytos, Executive Producer of IA’s Kings Quest 3 had this to say. “We just love this game and felt that even twenty years later the story was relevant and, more importantly, still fun. We wanted to introduce a new generation of gamers to this classic and show older players who remember the original something new and special. We think we’ve done this, but it’s up to the fans to tell us what they think.”

Boasting all new full VGA backgrounds, enhanced hand-drawn close up cut-scenes, dialog portraits for all the characters, original music by our professional composer, full speech pack (including narrator) and a new point-and-click interface, make Infamous Adventures’ remake of Kings Quest III one of the best remakes on the fan-game market. And the best part is, it’s free!

Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition pcgame free download

For all fight lovers, here’s the Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition of the most famous fighting game of all time, now available for Windows.

While other editions of Street Fighter have often required extra emulators to run, as well as losing some of the feel of the original game, this one retains all the original gameplay and graphics, and all from just one file. You can even add a 'scan lines' effect by pressing Alt-4 or selecting the option in the Video menu.

With the Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition you can choose between the eight original characters plus the four special ones you meet towards the end of your adventure: Balrog, Sagat, Vega and M. Bison. There are some mistakes here with the names as the Spanish fighter is Vega, the boxer Balrog and the captain M. Bison, but in this Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition emulation, the names are all mixed-up.

To set the keys you prefer in order to play, go to the Option > Set Config > Controllers menu; at this point, choose '6btn Pad' in the Port1 line and click Define. Now press the keys you would like to use to jump, move right, left, punch and kick by following the direction you see at the bottom of the frame. Now you're all set to enjoy the Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition tournament.

Revisit the action with your favorite characters from Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition in this faithful version of the original Capcom game.
